I am looking at getting 99 Chevy Silverado here soon. Black exterior that is full of swirls. what is the best course of action to correcting this to a nice black finish. i do have a meguiars DA.

Since you have a D/A, life will be easy! After you wash it, clay bar if necessary to get any contaminants off the paint. Then id just go straight to Ultimate Compound with a yellow pad and have at it. Follow up with Ultimate Polish with yellow pad and then your wax of choice. Should come out great!Always searching for the best....Keep it country!

You may want to do a test spot of Ult. Polish first, but having both on your shelf will be good, and you may need UC anyway if it is that bad.

I do have both on hand with plenty of pads. so ultimate compound then ult. polish and wax of my choice? also the dealership has loaded down all the interior pieces with armorall. i ran my had across the dash and it felt like i had just done a oil change and my hands were full of oil! what can remove armorall? very dilluted degreaser?
