griots DA polisher

so I figured since the megs.DA was on back order. I decided to get the griot 6in DA..with the orange polishing pad and 2 red waxing pads. Im using megs cleaner wax, #7 and #26. what pads should I use with the product and speed settings for applying? of course I should use the red pad for waxing but what should I set speeds at?? *confused*

I've got the Griots as well. I don't use the pad colors you're talking about but I've been using speed 2 for waxing.

Defect removal - speed 4-5,
Polishing - speed 3-4,
Waxing - speed 2-3.

Might be same as G110 but not G110V2. G110V2 has Cruise control so when you apply more pressure it keeps same speed instead of slowing down.

While quite similar, neither is a simple rebadge of the other. It is true that our original G100 was a rebadged Porter Cable 7424 (quite literally rebadged as that label was the ONLY difference) but the Griot's tool and ours are not the same thing. That's true whether comparing our G110 and their older tool, or our G110v2 and their latest tool. Although our G110v2 and their latest tools are the most potent readily available DAs on the market.
