  • Velcro backing plate failure

is there any glue that I can use to glue it back on? I was detailing a 64 Studebaker and in the middle of the job the pad just fell off I thought the foam pad was the problem till I saw the velcro was still attached to the pad and not the backer. I tried 3m trim adhesive which didn't work.

how old is the backing plate ??...Mequiars is very good about standing behind their products and the quality of them. If you think it didn't last as long as it should have, give them a call and see what they say...hey, ya never know
