I already have a S3BP professional 3” backing plate and an assortment of 3” foam pads. What grit paper would I need if I’m doing one or two pairs of lights a month? Can I use #83 Dual Action Cleaner/Polish after finish sanding?

Re: Can the DA be used for headlight restoration?
Yes, a dual action polisher can be used for headlight restoration and works very well.
You can start with 3000 grit and see if that works or go all the way down to 800 grit if needed. Just depends on the severity of the damage to the headlight.Tedrow's Detailing
