iam planning on buying a da polisher in the near future. right now iam leaning towards the griots garage orbital. i have always used meguiars products and are very happy with them. my question is can i use the meg's gold class carnauba plus with the red pad that they offer with good results? also can i use meg's swirl x with the orange pad that they offer with good results? if i buy their machine, i would like to stay with their pads because their machine comes with a backing plate. thanks

Yes, you definitely can use our products with the Griot's tool and pads and get outstanding results. That is an excellent tool, no doubt about it, and the pads should serve you well too. You can always pick up our W68DA backing plate and W8207/W9207 pads and use them with the Griot's tool, or use our W8006/W9006 pads with their backing plate.Michael Stoops
