1st time detailing

So i finally received my PC in the mail today, and i plan to detail my car tomorrow, but before i acutally work on it, i want to ask some questions first before i do it.

So i want to get swirls out of my car mainly.

Step 1 : Wash my car and dry
Step 2 : Using Meguiars Ultimate Compound
Step 3 : Polish with Meguiars Ultimate Polish
Step 4 : Wax With Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax

Is this order correct?

And also i have questions about the color pads, like what color do i use with each of these products?

All my pads are the Lake Country Smart pads.

I have White, Yellow, Black , Blue , Orange

step 2 should be claying if needed...most likely it will be needed if you have never done it before, and no, you cant'd do that with your PC DA
