    I like G110v2's cruise control.

According to ADS it should be back in stock late March:

Yep, i got impatient too and ordered a PC. Got it in the mail yesterday. Cant wait till this weekend! But i believe the PC model you need is the 7424xp. I'm not sure but it may not be safe to use the one at Lowe's on a car.
Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

The one you're looking at from lowe's is fine. It comes with a blacking plate for sanding discs, and a white foam pad that you shouldnt use. I believe the only difference between the actual machines is the counterweight, but It doesnt really make a difference. I have it, and my shop has the xp, and the G110, and I feel absolutely no difference between the three. Good luck, and enjoy.

Ok so it is ok to use. Cool! You will still need to order a differnt backing plate if you plan to use that PC.

Yea that's ware if I should hold on or just get the PC and go from there, I do need a bunch of pads to get every thing started so i could get the backing plate the same time.

Thanks sspudnick So you cant tell the difference? is the counterweight that big of a deal! I'm just looking for something till the G110v2 is back. also it wouldn't hurt to have a back up ready to go.

Nope, I cant feel the difference at all. The sp has a larger weight because of the friction of sanding, if you choose to use it that way im assuming.

I say go for it. Everything is interchangeable, and you'll have to buy the backing plates and pads anyways.

The sp is the same machine, just has a different accessory kit that comes with the unit.

                Good luck with your decision!

got my XP on Amazon for a bit cheaper than SP. Love it!!

Never know that Sacramento Lowes stores carry the SP

I just ordered a PC DA - I'm searching but can't seem to find an answer, what is wrong with the PC white pad?

Finally the G2 will be back. Sad to see such a great machine held up for so long.

Don't make same mistake as did. I took my sp7346 BACK to Lowes because it does not work good at all.
