im going to buy a d/a but idk which one to get..

im looking for a good powerful one thats reialble

i want to get the 110v2 but it seems many ppl have a problem and have to ship it back not long after buying it.

which d/a do u guys prefer?

I would go with the G110v2. Yes, you do hear about people with problems. However, you do not hear about the hundreds of units that work just fine.

To me, you also have to factor in customer service. Support after the sale. Meguair's is right up there with the best.

Having owned about all the DA's out there (except the Meg's), I say Griot's Garage DA all the way. $129 and LIFETIME warranty!

You can't go wrong with any of these reliable tools: Meguiar's G110v2, Porter Cable 7424 XP or Griot's Garage 6".

Meg's machine has cruise control, which maintains its constant speed under down pressure, Griot's has lifetime warranty, PC has been on the market for ages.

Sometimes you may find a good deal on the whole package: DA polisher with backing plate and buffing pads. Check out ADS, AutoGeek, Amazon and see who fits your needs best.

Cruise control? What's that....? I don't think it can handle 20 pounds of pressure well... Then again I dont use it past 4... I correct with the Makita and finish with the DA
I'm the guy that went through THREE Megs machines from day one when they came out with the new machine... And minus the shipping pains will admit that Megs CS is by far hands down the best. They own it, acknowledge it and make it right .. I've come to the realization that it's a tool, and like EVERY tool out there its bound to break.. Now all things equal... Megs has a one year warranty and Griots has a lifetime warranTy ... Roll you own dice
