Do you guys wash them after every use? Do you have one pad for each product? I have been washing mine after every use and then changing what product I use in the next job. I'm debating if i should have one set for A product and another set for B product. Just looking for some input.

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
The beauty of new 2.0 Soft Buff pads is that you can machine wash them.
You definitely want to clean them after every use. If you could have enough to designate them for each product it would be ideal but you can use them with different products after wash and dry.
Pad conditioning brush and cleaning pads "on the fly" are helpful to remove product excess, especially stubborn waxes.

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
But I've been going through the forum and it says you cannot machine wash the pads as the velcro doesn't grip as well? or is this for the old pads?'69 Dodge Charger 'General Lee' (Smith Brothers Restoration)

2.0 Soft Buff pads can go into washing machines with no problem.
I remember that Mike Stoops said that they do it in Meguiar's Garage for a long time without any bad effects.

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
Wow there you go, I've learned something new today! Mind me asking what product you use to clean the pads and do you rinse on cold/cold cycle? I've just ordered 12 from Autogeek and need to learn how to clean these with local products :p'69 Dodge Charger 'General Lee' (Smith Brothers Restoration)

I do it for about a year and so far so good. No problems even with wax removal.

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
So would any liquid detergent be alright for cleaning pads and MF towels? like, as an example; http://www.globalgiants.com/archives/media/Tide.jpg

Something like that?
Just as said before: no bleach, no fabric softener, no dryer tissues.
Foam pad conditioning brush helps a lot to remove left product as well.

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
Awesome, I don't think we have any of those brushes available over in New Zealand, so I will try with a medium bristled shoe/tooth brush'69 Dodge Charger 'General Lee' (Smith Brothers Restoration)

Re: Soft Buff 2.0 Pads
We use Tide here at work but at home it's All-Free (due to wife's allergies). After every use we throw the pads in the washer and dryer - at work we tend to separate the pads from the towels, but that's usually due to volume of material we're washing - a dozen pads or more at once, for example. At home I tend to mix them because I may have just 4 pads and a dozen towels.
