    Recommended pads for applying polish and then wax?

    Hey guys,

    Got myself a G110v2 to use for polishing and and waxing my new truck. I've got a couple of soft buff 2.0 polishing pads and one soft buff 2.0 finishing pads that came with it.

    Would these be the best pads to use for applying deep crystal polish and NXT 2.0 tech wax? A extremely new to the idea of machine polishing and waxing, just want to make sure I'm doing things right

    Well, a few more pads may help you, but should be ok for now.

    You can use the polishing pad for DC Polish, and the Finishing Pad for Nxt.

    Is this a first detail? Using any clay, cleaner as well?

      Any particular ones you would recommend? I can get some more, these are simply what I have available

      This is actually the second detailing since I got it. I've seen it recommended several times to wax and detail about 4 times a year, so I'm trying to start up a once every four months schedule.

      I've got a clay kit, going to check the vehicle over with the touch test to see if its needed or not. Previous inspections haven't revealed any surface defects so I wasn't planning on any type of paint cleaner though.
