      Re: G110 Problem

DANG ! ! My G110V2 just died. I think the same issue as others.Probably the 5th time used. Working away on a customer vehicle (3/4 done) and it just died. If I move the cord around at the back of the machine (as others referenced previously), it will start and then shut down again. UGH!! Gotta finish this one (I guess by hand) and another sitting waiting for me. I suppose I will have to call off the job until I can get a replacement. This is gonna piss off a customer as they left the vehicle and got another ride to work. Now it'll have to be done some other day....guess I'll have to offer a huge discount for the inconvienence in an effort to keep a customer happy (which is the right thing to do). DANG....frustrating!!

Boy...ain't it the truth. I was saving from profits to get a backup unit (I do have the Makita rotary (NEW)) but not quite there yet. Maybe I should get the G110V1 as primary and have the V2 as my backup (since it's already paid for).

Can I borrow one of your first gen's Nick??

I think you'll be fine Keeick. I know Meguiars will make it right. It's probably more embarrassing (as well as frustrating) that it happened and I have to explain away my situation to customers.
I am heading to Irvine for my son's graduation which is right down the street from Meguiars and I think I am going to hand deliver the broken one and pick up a replacement.
I will get myself set up with something for backup for situations like this.
