Can I just say that I'm absolutely head-over-heels in love with my G110v2????? I'm just blown away with the results!!! Just got it last Friday....
I mainly ordered it for paint correction on my Dad's 1951 Mercury, but I also have four other vehicles to take care of between us all. (I'm fortunate enough to have built a house next to my parents, and we all take care of each other in some way or another - I get the car detailing!

Dad usually has a guy he knows come in a detail his Mercury every year, and he uses Meguiar's Gold Class, but he's never really "corrected" the paint. He's very good at what he does, but I think just doesn't know what "correcting" paint is. After reading this forum, I started really realizing that I could do more for that old car, and my Dad - who is usually too busy doing one thing or another for us girls (Mom and me) to pay much detailed attention to the paint on his cars. He'd much rather work under the hood! He goes to a few car shows with it during the year, but most of the time he's too busy. I think I just might change that...
You might say I'm all "show"
and Dad's all "go" when it comes to our cars!!
(It's a perfect partnership, but he's teaching me the "go" part too on the drag strip)
I realized I was up for a bit of a challenge - I knew the car had been re-painted years ago (basecoat, clear coat) before he bought it and it's not what I would call the top-of-the-line paint job. I had no idea how hard or soft the paint was. It has it's fair share of swirls and water etchings and I was convinced I could remove them. Worst (or best) of all, it's black.
I had gone over it earlier this year with some Swirl X and topped it with NXT 2.0, and while it looked much better, there was still some swirls and minute etchings that could be seen in the right light. He was very happy with how it turned out, I was not.
All I have had time to do so far is the roof. I wanted to start out in a small spot on the roof just in case things didn't quite turn out how I liked them.
Started with ONR (too cold out to wash outside) and clay bar.
I began with M105 and did small sections very slowly with the G110v2/2.0 Polishing pad and wiped each section off immediately with a SS microfiber. I went over the entire roof twice as one pass wasn't enough. Absolutely amazed at what the M105 did, no more scratches, no more etchings!! I didn't think it could get any better - boy, was I wrong!!
Then I put on the 2.0 Finishing pad and started with M205. I only needed one pass with the M205 because I had a much longer time to work with it before it began to dry. Same application - small section, wipe off. All I can say is...Holy cow!!! <-----feel free to insert much more colorful language here, which is how it's actually intended, but I know this forum is family friendly!
I just placed my third (yes, third) order with ADS since March
for more M105/M205 and 6 7" 2.0 pads (hey, they're 25% off!! 
) and I also got some M07. I figure once the car has been clayed, a couple applications of M105 and M205, some M07 will make the paint "pop" and I'll top 'er off with some NXT 2.0. I did, of course, get Dad some UQD for touch ups prior to the shows I did give it some thought about using GC to top it with, but I'm stuck on NXT 2.0..LOVE that stuff!!
I'm very fortunate to have a Dad that will let me work on his classic car like this. After everything he has done for me over the years, I can at least do this for him!
I guess if any of you are on the fence about buying a C110v2, I'm hoping this post will help you make your decision. They are well worth the money!!!!!!
