Have anyone used Dodo juice DA before?

I was at a car show, and the sales person said dodo had the same guts as G220. and it is 90Euro cheaper, that mean almost 150 bucks.

i just want to see your opinions about this product.
i want to support Meguiars, but after i moved from the state, price of the products in Europes are tripled as in State, i am so sad...

and they don have all the products here as in the state.
I don have APC here, what a great disappointment.

guys, please share something about this DA.

With a quick search, I discovered that the Dodo juice unit is actually a Kestrel DAS-6, which evidently is reported to have very similar internals....

i always wanted to buy one in state, G110, but sadly i was moving to Europe.
which require G220...

G110 is about 200 bucks in state,
and G220 is about 325 bucks.
and dodo juice is going to be about 182 bucks...

I mean I really want to support Meguia's.
But outside the states, I don think I can effort it LOL!!

So should I go for the dodo juice one??

I also did a search, G220 is 550W and Kestrel DAS-6 is 500W,
the rest is the same...
2500 - 6500 opm, 3 meters cable and DAS-6 is 0.1kg more...

If the Dodo Juice one has a decent warranty, go for it. A reputable company should back their product.

I own the Dodo Juice Buff Daddy. While I would have preferred a G220, it's price is double that of the Dodo - about 130 Euro compared to 249 Euro for the G220 (v1).

The machine works well, it is similar. Some people claim that it is slightly louder - having used both with some months in-between, I do not remember a distinctive difference.

If I were you I would run and buy it immediately because if you wait for a month decision will become much harder, their products tend to multiply quickly and you might have to choose between Dodo DA for Soft Paints, Dodo DA for Hard Paints, Dodo Supernatural DA (when Ghostbusters need polisher), Dodo DA for Velvety Cars (Pimp My Ride Edition), Dodo DA for Crushed Cars, ...

It is a good product for a non-professional customer. If you plan to detail for a living and use it daily, it's better to spend double the amount and turn to Flex, Makita or Festool. If you plan to do your car and maybe some cars of friends or family members, it's a great machine which will last for years.
