I'm in the middle of detailing my car and only have 8207 pads. I used this pad with the 80 cleaner/polish. My 9207 finish pads won't arrive until next week. Can I use the 8207 to apply wax?

The finishing pads are noticeably softer than polishing pads. I would wait for the 9207 pads to arrive or just apply wax by hand with a foam applicator. -

Yeah, you can. Not ideal really, may not look quite as nice, but can be done.

Thanks fellas. I applied it by hand and removed it with a microfiber bonnet over a 7007 cutting pad. 1/2 way old-school doing it by hand!!Comment
