    Pad question

    Hi guys!
    What pad is the best to use with a DA polisher and Ultimate compound?

    The W8207 or the W7207? The car is VW golf, and the paint is hard.
    I have heard that the 8207 cuts better than the 7207 on DA, is this true?

    The w8207 is the recommended pad for the g172 ultimate compond.

      But why? Does it give more cut than the 7207? Or is the 7207 only for rotary?

        Ya the 7207 pad is recommended for the rotary buffer only and not recommended for the dual action polisher.

          If you look at the first post on on this thread, it has all of the information you need about product, pads and speed when using the dual action polisher. It is very helpful to get people going in the right direction who are new to using a dual action polisher and a great reference chart just to double check yourself that you are always using the right product, pad and spped when using this machine.
