Hey guys, I just recently bought a G100, and I was wondering how to use 3 inch pads with it? Is it possible? If so do I need some new type of backing plate?

From my understanding you need to get a different backing plate but I am nto sure which one it is.Tedrow's Detailing

Yes, you need a new backing plate. Also, did you get the new 4" pads or 3"? ADS sells a couple brands of small plates, make sure you get the DA version!NOTE: Post count does not reflect actual detailing knowledge.Comment

I searched for "Backing plate" on ADS and came up with these results:
All the 3/4 inches are for rotary, and the 5 inches ones are for the DA. Should I get the 5 inch?Comment
