G110 went down mid-detail

My G110 started to get louder followed be a nasty elecrical burnt smell. This happened to me about 3 cars earlier (2 weeks). I let it rest and it started working again. But this time it wouldn't come back on. Luckly I had my dad's G110 as a back-up to finish the job. What is the procedure to sending the broken unit in for repair?
