    I want to get a smaller backing plate for my G110

    Can I buy this

    and this...


    with 4 inch pads?

    Does anyone else use smaller backing plates on their G110?

    That is what you would need.

    I have not made it over to the 4" size yet, but want to in the near future.

        Rotary/DA Backing Adapter. Converts from 5/8" rotary backing plate thread to 5/16" DA thread

          i have a PC so im not sure if it is the same, but i have a 3 or 3.5" backing plate for my CCS 4" pads and i didnt need an adapter.

            I thought so.

            Good price too.

            I have one of those myself, but it's a tad longer. I had a machinist make it for me as a return favor. I use it on my Craftsman sander / polisher, and it allows me to install a grinding disc on it.

            Too bad I can't use it to buff with. This thing (machine) has no side handle, and only has two speeds. It is too tough to control.

              Why not just go with the 3.5" D/A backing plate from ADS?

                  Not sure if the G110 requires a diameter specific counter weight for different pads. If it does, you may want to look into that before changing the type of pads to use.

                    I have one and they work great. I didn't think I needed the 4" pads till I started using them. I wouldn't want to go back to life without them now.
