As much as I'd like to benefit from #7, it just sits at the bottom of my "fail" bucket now. It's so wonderfully easy to remove, too, as I'm sure you will find and report back to us!

I've basically the same situation and vehicle and color as you; I know. When I do my first correction work sometime soon, I'm sure all I'll need is m205 on the Yellow SB2.0 pad, then m205 on the black finisher.

Or the CCS/orange pads etc if you prefer .
You're right - M07 is not needed following a correction using a polish like M80 or M205. Also, I think the intent of applying a glaze like M07 lends itself more to filling in defects as opposed to removing them via abrading the clearcoat as you would with a cleaner polish like M80/M205. Makes sense - if you remove a swirl or scratch, there's nothing left for the glaze to fill in, so there should be no discernible effect.

Well, whatever the process is that #7 supposedly uses to improve depth, lustre or shine...I never noticed any gains from it. I might be tempted to use it for the "what the heck I hope it works" factor if it were easier to remove, though. (Think of M105 vs M205 removal--You know what I mean!).

As soon as my PC 7424XP gets here I'm gonna do a test spot on my 2006 Nighthawk Black Pearl Honda Civic with a white LC pad and some Ultimate Compound.

I hear Honda paint is supposedly soft but I have some pretty nice scratches and swirls so UC is it. I don't have the luxury have having 10 different polishes on hand to "start with the least agressive". UC might be extreme to start with but we'll see what happens.

Hey mate, your Integra has harder paint than the newer 2009 Honda in question.

Animals and trees were killed during the making of the paint on your Integra. With the 2009 Civic, Honda manages to reverse global warming with the making of the new paint. So you cannot compare the two paint systems.

Hey man, thanks for the reassurrance. Can't wait to give it a go with UC and a LC white pad on my NHBP Honda paint with my PC7424XP...Grrrr, still waiting for it in the mail.

No idea what the comment was about for Honda killing trees and animals for making pre-2009 Nighthawk Black Pearl paint vs saving the Earth in 2009 was about. My 2006 Honda has the Earth destruction NHBP paint then I guess.

Hey man I have the Green LC Pad (apparently 20% more aggressive than white pad) and it seems to have not as good effect as Meguiars Yellow Polishing Pad W8207. The material seems softer than the meguiars one so I don't know.... I started off with the green pad on the side and it seemed to create even more swirls (maybe too aggressive??) so i moved it down to the meguiars one and it was perfect. However for my heavier scratches both pads didnt do much to it , maybe i will go through it longer next time i wash polish my car and see
