  • Few ?? before starting my detailing....

Ok, I just received my G110 package from ADS and I just wanna thank Rick Meyer for an excellent customer service.

I'll be asking questions from here on so I hope you guys don't get sick of me..lol.

    Here goes:

    1) Should I apply the NXT 2.0 "paste" wax using an applicator that comes in the tin can or spread the wax on the finishing pad? How do I apply the paste and how much do I use on the pad if going the pad way?

    2) What speed do you use to work the wax in the paint?

    That's it for now. Thanks.

    1. Use the applicator pad that comes in the tin can, will be easier in the longrun IMO

    2. when waxing by machine use speed 3 or 4.

      Thanks Tuck.

      So just to be sure,

1- apply wax with applicator pad
2- work it into the paint with the DA & finishing pad
3- let dry for about 10-15 mins.
4- buff off with DA & bonnet

What is the advantage if i work the wax into the paint with an applicator vs. DA+finishing pad?

You don't need to work NXT 2.0 into the paint. All you need to do is spread it around. The advantage of doing it with a DA is that you can spread it faster than if you were to do it by hand.
