Re: 110 vs 100 vs 220 and PC7424 vs 7424XP
The G110 is built for the US and North American market based upon our voltage (The 110v standard)
The G220 is built for Europe, Asia, Australia, and other countries using the 220v standard
A Porter Cable 7424 is a sander polisher that was adapted for car detailing several years ago and became the DA tool of choice for many years among detailers. Meguiars contracted with Porter Cable to rebadge the 7424 as the Meguiars G100, but later went with independent designers to produce the G110 specifically for auto detailing and polishing.
The PC 7424XP was recently introduced as the successor to the original PC 7424 and actually approximates the G110 in terms of power, speed, and like the G110 was specifically designed for the detailing industry.

Re: 110 vs 100 vs 220 and PC7424 vs 7424XP
the g110 is a bit stronger. the g100 is the same power as the pc (or at least really close since the g100 is a rebadged pc) the g110 goes up to 6700 and the pc and g100 only goes to 6000. this is also the reason you can break a backingplate or pad with the g110 on speed 6 if you are not careful.
