I personally have found excellent results using 5" or 5.5" CCS or LC pads with my 110, they just spin so much faster, and the rotation is the big factor in correcting paint. the larger pads will be great for LSP's, but for me, gotta have smaller ones in the collection for correction..
And I agree with you even though I never used a DA before. My "feeling" tells me that the smaller the pad, the more control I will have for defect removal. I've also read this as well.

I am seriously contemplating a purchase of the G110 from ADS. However, I am overwhelmed with the selection of pad sizes, CCS pad colors and such.
I want to have a good selection of pads on hand and backing plates for the 4" CCS pads. What colors should I have on hand as a general rule of thumb? Do I need the adapter?
