I'm trying to find Ultimate Bonnets for the SoftBuff 2.0 pads I'm about to order. Are these available for the SB2.0 Pads?

Those are just for 6.5" pads, but I contacted ADS and they just received new 7" Meguiar's Ultimate Bonnets Friday

I thought Meguiar's discontinued the Ultimate Bonnets. Did they bring them back again? Cool if they did!

Sorry guys, these aren't Meguiar's after all. I just got an email from ADS telling me this. I'll post back who makes them if they can tell me.

Not sure who makes them still, but got this response:


These are not a Meguiar's brand bonnet. Neither were the white 6.5". Meguiar's stopped marketing their own bonnets several years ago and have not come out with any since.

The 6.5" bonnets (from whoever makes them) work well, so I am sure the new ones will be good also.

Let me test fit a 7" pad using either the M9920 or M9930 Ultimate Bonnets.
I have an abundance of each, and I will let you know if they fit properly.

Give me a day or so to check it out.
PorscheGuy997 has a few of each- perhaps he can tell us if either one fits well before I get to it.

Yes! The 6.5" Ultimate Bonnet will fit on a 7" pad.

Here is what it looks like on a W8207 pad with W68DA plate:


The fit is a little tight, but it does work.

I know a certain guy who has a stash of Ultimate Wipe bonnets........
