G-100 Questions!

Hello,

I have 2 questions regarding my G-100. First of all, I noticed that it has a 5" counterweight (came with it), but I have 6 inch Megs 1.0 buff pads? is this normal?

2. If my G-100 should die, and it has a lifetime warranty, am I **** out of luck since they don't make the G-100 anymore?

Lastly, has anyone had any issues with their G-100? What goes on them? I've only used mine a handful of times.

The counterweights will not make a difference in polishing and there is no need to change them.

The warranty from the G100 will continue even thought the model is discontinued. If something does fail, it will be replaced (believe with a G110).

I have heard of a few Porter Cable polishers going bad, but they are very reliable tools. Even if it does go bad, it still has the warranty.
