  • NEW Porter Cable DA - PC 7435

Hey guys, just found this over at Autopia and figured I'd post it here to get some initial comments. The new PC appears to be slightly stronger than the G110, but not as strong as FLEX. It does not have forced rotation either, which is a clear distinction with the FLEX. Rumor is this will be hitting the shelves pretty soon. I've added a couple photos from my gallery with the specs.

I do know the original PC 7424/Meguiars G100 were very durable machines, that bodes well for this new version. However, it doesn't appear enough of an upgrade in power or opm's over the G110 to run out and buy one.

I agree, Scott. It's only a bit stronger than the G110, and no where near as strong as the FLEX DA. Already having a G100 with the lifetime warranty, I'll probably hold onto that for a long, long time. Given the increasing cutting ability of the new compounds and pads, the G100 is still plenty useful.

Very good points. I could not agree more with you.

I'm surprised they still have the handle on the side.
