Hi all, got a 7424 for christmas!

Hey guys, I detail for fun on the families cars, and I just recently got a 7424 . A white foam pad came with it, i'm not sure what to do with it, what is it for? Also it looks to me like I'm going to have to get a velcro backing plate.... gosh all this stuff adds up! $15 for a bottle of polish, $15 a pad, where do you guys shop to get this stuff on a budget? My first detailing job will be a 1995 suburban, it is a greenish bluish color, and the paint needs some help, BAD!

I agree call ADS - You won't be disappointed with your PC. That said just toss the white pad that was included with the pc in the trash or save it for use on glass, its best and safest to stick with pads you know, like Meguiars.

OK thanks for the link , those prices are much better! Question, what backing plate should I get for my 7424? The meguiars backing plate doesn't look like it will work with my machine.
