        Maybe Mike can clarify on this, but I was under the impression that all G100's from Meguiar's has the lifetime warranty?

        Wasn't the warranty the only difference between buying a G100 vs. the PC branded unit?

          lol i got a little impatient with the customer service number at meguiar's....everytime I tried calling it will say something like at this time meguiar's is having a meeting or something call back at another time. I would try calling back and have no luck so I lost hope to even reach anyone.

            Yes, all G100's purchased directly from Meguiar's came with a lifetime warranty. If you purchased a similar machine (i.e. PC 7424) directly from Porter Cable or many other sources the manufacturer's 1 year warranty applied.

            When purchased directly from Meguiar's the G100 was also packaged with a Meguiar's backing plate and polishing pad.

              I apologize for the trouble you had contacting us. We do from time to time have to shut down the phones for training or special meetings, but for the most part we are open 12 hours a day Mon-Fri, and on Saturdays for 8 hours.                 so as long as the polisher is Meguiar branded (*i.e. G100 or G110) it has a life time warranty? (i'm debating on whether to buy PC 7424 or G110...)
                it doesn't matter where you order it from?

                  That is incorrect. The G110, not to be confused with the G100, is the only DA Polisher we now sell and comes with a 1 year warranty.

                      I still have my G100 (with original box) and was wondering if this unit uses/came with a compression washer to install when attaching the backing plate
