New meguiars pads vs old pads whats the diff

ok well im curious to know what the differences are between these pads and the new pads

w8006 and the new W8207

and also the

w9006 and the new w9207

im looking to have my wife get me a g110 for christmas, im new at this and wanted to make sure i got the right pads let me know thanks cause autodetailing solutions has the g110 kits but they come with the new pads..... not the old ones anymore

The main difference between the Soft Buff (W7006, W8006, and W9006) and Soft Buff 2.0 (W7207, W8207, and W9207) is that the Soft Buff 2.0 pads can be machine washed - just throw them in the washing machine.

Also, the newer pads are 7" in size compared to the older ones, which were 6.5".

The W7207 and W9207 feature new foams. And, the new cutting pad is approved for use with the DA.

If given the choice, I would take the Soft Buff 2.0 pads over the Soft Buff pads.

The old pads are not machine washable as recommended my Meguiars. The new ones can be machine washed. The only other difference beween the old and new pads is that you can use a cutting pad with the DA where the older version you could not.
