  • Caked on polish on pad

Im using a 8006 pad with M83. I have used the pad maybe 6 times the problem is there is product stuck to the outside of the pad i have cleaned on the fly many times but it doesnt come off. The rest of the pad looks clean but i have to pick at the dried product for it to come lose which doesnt make any since, i think it might be putting in scratches in the paint
so i swithced pads just wondering if any one ever had this happen and what you do to stop it ?

What I do is put it in the sink, spray APC at 4:1 on the pad. Let it sit for a few minutes, fill the sink with water enough to cover the pads, let it sit a few minutes again. Squeeze the pads so they soak up the water. Take a stiff brush and work the face of the pad and the edges to remove the built up gunk. Drain the sink, squeeze the dirty water out of the pads. Fill the sink with clean water and squeeze that pads, repeat that step till the water coming out of the pads is clean. Then I put them on the drying rack. It's worked great for me.
