  • Getting a G110 and I have product Q's

So after years of applying product by hand, I'm going make the move to a G110 and I'm in need of product selection help?

I plan on starting off easy. First up will be the family '05 Toyota Avalon Touring (black with a few faint swirl marks), next will be my '02 Grand Cherokee Overland trail/off-road rig (dark gray with a number of scratches in the clearcoat...between the dents ) and last up will be my '06 Civic Si (black with near perfect finish). For the last few years, I've been using another companies product (starts with a "Z" and ends with a "O"), but I've had enough of applying their product by hand.

After reading a few threads....and getting total information overload in the process. I think I've mapped out my initial plan of attack. For the Avalon and the Si, claying, polishing with M80 (Speed Glaze) and then sealing with M21 (Synthetic Sealer). For the Jeep, claying, M83 (Dual Action Cleaner/Polish), M80 and then M21.

So how does the above sound to start off? Get me back on track if I'm way off base here.

Now what about normal up-keep? If I want to wash and wax between polishing (say I polish twice a year), would I be better off going with a sealer or another product that has a cleaner in it.......as I understand that M21 is only a straight sealer? Would say M20 (Polymer Sealer) or NXT be a better choice?

Those are the proper products, though do not assume you need #83. Do a test spot/area with #80 first.

For normal cleaning/polishing, #80, or if the surface is really good still, #82 would be fine.

#20 does have some cleaners, that would kind of be like going with a cleaner/wax topped with a regular wax like #21. If you used #80/#82, it would be an extra step of course.

But for a daily driver, if you wanted to use a cleaner/wax, you may need something more like an actual cleaner/wax to get built up dirt off if you are are only doing twice a year.

So, some variables to consider, but you are on the right track.
