I have a cheap-o ($20-30) 6" orbital buffer that I used once like 4 years ago. I remember not liking it but can't remember exactly why. I have been doing all polishing and waxing by hand. I've become infatuated with the G110 but am hesitant to drop the cash because of my past experience. Is the G110 money well spent or should I give another go with the old orbital?

Orbital or G110?

Re: Orbital or G110?
You will certainly not be disappointed with the purchase of a g110. Not only is it faster to work with, you will get better results and can do minor paint correction. It doesn't even compare to an orbital.

Re: Orbital or G110?
I went through 3 cheapo orbitals on my car and motorhome and finally threw the last one away and bought the G110. The difference is night and day!!! Faster, easier and the results are fantastic compared to the orbital.Barry

Re: Orbital or G110?
orbitals cannot even be compared to the G110..... i tried my dad's craftman orbital to apply scratch X back when i did not have a G100 and after maybe 2 panels the orbital overheated and bogged down and finally wouldnt even turn back on and it did not even achieve much cleaning so i had to go back to using hand.... the G100 corrected scratchs that would have gave my hands blisters in a fraction of the time and fraction of the effort... it wont bog down on you and it is much easier to handle than a bulky orbital
you do lose arm muscle building excersize oppurtunity though because the G110 makes paint correction so much faster and easier and so much less effort compared to hand.

Re: Orbital or G110?
^ agreed, I got better results using products such as ScratchX by hand than using a orbital.
