Recieved my G110 and pads from ADS yesterday and tried it out on my motorhome this morning. I applied a liquid wax with theW902 pad at speed 3, let it dry then switched to W7207 with microfiber bonnet and speed 5. At first the bonnet flared out from the sides of the pad and I thought the bonnet was too big (6.5"). I applied a bit more pressure and the bonnet tucked in nicely around the pad. After a few minuets, maroon particles started flying out and the pad separated from the backing that sticks to the velcro/plate. The pad was quite warm to the touch and it looks like the glue melted? I have a call into ADS. I have been using Sears orbital machines over the years and this G110 is a zillion times better and the results are fantastic. I am anxious to get in a bit more practice before taking on my Saturn.

Re: Did I do something wrong ie. pad?
The G110 is truely fantastic, and does things that the sears model can never dream of (paint correction).
What speed setting did you use to put the wax on, and take it off? I believe suggested is setting 3. Speed six is supposed to cause issues, but many folks have used it extensively in the past.
How much pressure did you put on the pad? Large amounts of pressure and stage 6 may have this issue come up. (I've ripped up one of my pads in a similar fashion while "cleaning on the fly" on stage 6 with to much pressure).

I would say call Megs or ADS it really seems like a just a bad pad. I had one and i took it back to my local distributor and he hooked me with 3 new ones and he sent the old one back to megs.
