  • Flex vs G100/G110 Settings

My Flex came in yesterday and it has 1 - 6 for speed settings. I watched the video with Mike and I wanted to know if anyone knows how these compare. I haven't used either so I want to make sure I'm using it properly. I also noticed that he stated to put some where between 10 to 15 lbs on the G100 but when I put my machine on a glass scale it took very little to make this kind of pressure because of the initial weight of the machine. I spoke with Rick so my pads are setup to match what I will be using when I get my 2.0 pads and universal washer. I was a scratch X reject(believed in the product but the product didn't believe in me lol) as well so I want to see if I can try it again by hand before using the machine. The video gave a lot of detail on using the product and in general on how to apply the product to my applicator as well as the da pad. Anyway, fire when ready!

I have been using my FLEX on a speed of 4 to 5 without any issues. I treid it at a speed of 6 but I see no need to ever go that high.

Ok but is speed 4 to 5 for cleaning and polishing and then 1 to 2 for waxing?

Haven't used a Flex, but from Rasky's description I would guess around 2-3 for applying wax....much as with the G100.

I don't plan to ever use my FLEX to wax. I use my PC for that or by hand.
