Would using my PC with a white polishing pad or an orange light cutting pad give ColorX a little bit more correcting ability on some light swirls and scratches on my 2007 Black Lexus?

You can alter the aggressiveness or gentleness of ANY product by simply changing the aggressiveness or gentleness of your application material as well as your application process, (hand or machine and type of machine).
The MOST important thing you should do is a Test Spot, that is test your pad and product of choice with your skill level for using these items to a small section and then inspect. If it looks good continue around the car, if it doesn't look good you'll be so happy you only worked on a small section.
Some paints don't react well to foam cutting pads when used with tools that oscillate, it tends to haze the paint.
