  • G100 or G110?

    Hi gus,

I can't get the G110 in Jamaica yet and was wondering if I should by a G100 or wait until the 110 is avialable? The local Meguiar's dealer only has one G100 in stock and the box it's in looks quite the worst for wear (it's actually on special). The price (on special) is J$23,300.00 or US$315.00. Worth it, or should I hold out?

Would this polisher be for your own personal car for for customer's cars?

This is just an opinion so take it for what it's worth, about 2 cents U.S.

Our new G110 offers a lot more power as far as keeping the pad rotating under pressure and after your pads become wet with product, this equates to faster and more efficient defect removal. For this reason alone it's a good choice for both applications, (your personal cars and customer cars).

That said, if you're currently doing customer work by hand or without a DA Polisher then something is better than nothing, that is having a G100 would be better than working by hand and/or only having a rotary to do the rough work.

It would be for my personal cars and family cars. I don't know if you remember but I went throught the entire process once by hand (wash, clay, scratchx, polish and wax) and vowed "never again".

I promised myself that I would invest in a DA, but the local supplier dosn't have the 110 so I guess I'll wait.

Mike: Can you suggest any trustworthy suppliers who would ship overseas?

Sorry... can't do that... don't know of one off-hand plus my job is to always promote through our distributors...
