product usage?

how much product do you put on the pad?
I have searched on this site and others and this it what I come up with.

1. a line across the pad and when down working that into the car apply another line making a cross pattern thus turnning it into a starburst pattern.

2. three pea sized drops in the middle of the pad

3. swirl pattern in the middle of the pad.

I tried all of the them I have the same results , just wondering what everyone else does.

I make a very thin circle in the border of the pad, not in the exact edge, like 1inch from the edge.

I keep an eye on the pad.... if I see an area on the pad that looks dry I will place the product on that part of the pad. For the most part I place a circle near the outside of the pad as it seems most of the product tends to move the the center.
