Using the W2007 Pad?

I have been using Porrboy's SSR 2.5 with a LC 5.5 Orange Pad.....and I found out I need to go heavier duty on all my orange peel......the man at supply store recommended Meg's 84 and the W2007......with my previous setup they tell you NOT to pre-moisten your pad because it deminishes the aggressive purpose of the buffing needed.
I see nothing on the 84 bottle about prepping the pad - so I am turning here to Meq's Homeland for the straight skinny......do I just add put the 84 on my pad alone and go for it or what?

You can mist some M34 or Quik Detailer onto the face of the pad and then kind of work it into the foam to moisten the foam so it's not so dry when you're first starting out. As you apply M84 the M84 will keep your pad wet.

The reason for conditioning your cutting pad before starting out is because a dry W-7006 foam cutting pad is very stiff and dense to start with and can be quite abrasive when spinning at high speed and brought down on a painted surface.

So it's a precautionary step.

On a personal note, I don't usually do this instead I lay down a strip or bead of product, pick it up with my pad/rotary buffer and only work it for a few passes and then stop, wipe the surface clean and lay down a fresh strip of product. The first few passes will have spread the product out and essentially moistened the pad with product accomplishing the same thing. The trick to this approach is you don't buff very long as your strip of product is going to saturate into the foam pad since it's dry and this will leave the finish less lubricated, thus the reason for only making a few passes.

Either way will work.
