Since you don't have to work in the product like you would a polish or cleaner/wax, you are just applying a coat to cover the paint, why would you use a DA? Seems like applying by hand would be about as fast and more precise around trim and mouldings.

You will still need to apply your wax by hand in the areas where a buffer can not go, but once you use the DA for the application of the LSP, trust me, you will see why everyone speaks so highly of using it!

Not to mention the speed of the DA as opposed to working by hand. You get done faster, with better end results.
