  • polishing kit for DA polisher

Hi all.As i saw there is a huge "collection" of products out there and all of them are promising the best results.I am looking for some polishing kits (polishes, pads etc)to use them by DA polisher. So what is your suggestion?
I want a kit for clear coat paints,a kit for non metallic paints,a kit for deeper scratches than light swirls or if their is a kit that will work good on all above..i have only the experience of using SFX Polishes and pads( 1 to 3),Meguiars 3 step polishing system by hand,Meguiars Scratch-X by DA and SFX-2 Polishing pad and only on mine and my wife's car.I want to have a bigger collection for using them on different cars. For example next week i am going to detail 2 SAAB Aero.1 black non metallic paint with some deep scratches (cannot feel them but can see them from distance) and 1 graphite metallic paint (with clear coat) with some light swirls.
So what do you suggest me to use??
    Thanks about your time

You will need a 9006 Finishing Pad if you want to apply your wax with the G110 and a Microfiber Bonnet over a 7006 Cutting Pad if you will take of the wax with the G110.

I am asking more about what is the best combo to remove the scratches and swirls from both cars.may i use the same polishes on both of them or because of the different kind of paints i have to use different polishes?

When it come to the pad 8006 is as far as you can go, if you have light to moderate swirls or scratches you may want to use M80 for deeper ones you can try M83 it works for any paint. The best you can do is try to do a small test spot first and see which combo works for you then duplicate that on the whole car. I would suggest you get what benhui86 suggested and you will be fine.

I agree with Sydster, you never know by hand what is going to work best in that car/paint in that condition. You'll get better by time descartings things but in the beginning it's best to do a test spot, see how it looks and if the results are what you expect you copy the same process to the hole car.

OK.What do you suggest for starting up?Unfortunately in Cyprus we don't have those products. So whatever i will buy it is from USA or England or by Ebay etc.As you can see i have to pay almost twice for each product because of the shipping costs and the taxes. That's why i would like to buy something that it will really work according to your experience.
