  • G110 is great..................

Got to use the G110 this weekend and what a difference. Did my wife's black 07 CTS Saturday and even she noticed a difference. She asked what happened to all the swirls? Did my crimson pearl 06 Lucerne Sunday and both were parked out in 75 degree sunny spring like weather. Neighbors and people driving down the street asked me what I used. NXT 2.0 and synthetic detailer works great.

None, best money I have spent in many moons. Nice to buy something that exceeded your expectations.

Yeah, mine is still in the box, but I did install the backing plate and gave it a whirl to see what she feels like at settings 3 & 5. There's no way you can replicate that action by hand. Can't wait to use mine on my wife's water spotted car.

I've also got the chance to use my new G110 last night and nothing compares to the ease of application compared to hand application and the results are better compared to hand application. I will have to get my hands for some #83 and #80 to fully utilized the machine as I'm only using DC1, DC2 and DC3 right now.

Were you the same member whose co-worker visited AZ and picked up the G110 for you from ADS? I think I remember you having to use a transformer? How did all that work out for you?

OT but what nikon you shooting with? I have a D80 and I'm very pleased w/ it.

Just got my G110 kit from ADS today, Can't wait to go to town on the Bee ASAP. I'll post pictures this weekend. I did a look over and it might take a couple of days. Rob, can't beleive you are selling off all the stuff from the kit.

Yup that's me, my co-worker got the items over at ADS and arrived last wednesday. Using the transformer was ok, I have a 1.5KVA(220V to 110V) step down transformer.

OT I'm still using my old D70s, saving up for couple of pro lenses.

                      Mattaleca,

Yeah, I already have a tote bag that I will use and once the handle is installed, the G110 won't fit back in the hard case so that had to go too. I have a bunch of SS MF towels and I like to remove wax by hand, so, that stuff was great I just didn't have a need for it. I did keep the M83, because it was expensive to ship, and you never know when it will come it handy. Which kit did you get?

                      gls2001,

                      Cool. Enjoy.

I got the #3 G110 kit from Rick, and some extras as well. I see the point about the handle. I think I'm gonna try it out with out the handle, I might need something more than #83 when I try to tackle my truck. I had nightmares about not getting all the scratches out with the D/A.

Yeah, did the same thing. Figured once I actually use it, I'll have an idea what else I'll need.

Really? That bad. Lucky for me I may be able to get by w/ M09 or M80.
