  • G110 Wattage ??

    I'm looking at buying the G110 Polisher here in America and takeing it home to the UK. 150 dollar v 150 pound so basicly half price. I need to buy a transformer also i know but i'm not sure of the wattage of the G110.
    Any idea guy's.

    You want to look at the G220 I believe.

      Watts = Amps x Volts (and G110's Amps are published on it's introductory thread)

      I understand your motivation but if I were you I would just get G220 and be done with it.

          I'm from the Philippines and have a G100 from the U.S I just got me a 1000W transformer and it has been working well.

            4.2 amp x 120v = 504 Watts... Is it like this...? So meaning if we get a 550 Watt step down transformer would be sufficient...?

              Generally it would be sufficient but I always want to use a transformer that has a much higher wattage than the machine or appliance I'm using on it. Lets say I'm using a 550W DA I would want to use at least an 800W transformer for that. But that is just me, and you also have to consider that you wont be utilizing all those 550W of power because it is not recommended to use the G110 at speed #6.
