If you have used the meg's pad with one product such as #83...how do u make it "like new" or clean it so that I can use it with #80?? Will it be okay to mix it?

Re: Used pads
Meguiar's recommends using only one product for a specific pad and not mixing up products in one pad you must have a dedicated pad for each product. Meguiar's does not recommend washing pads because you might have some problems with the Velcro coming off but I do wash my pads after every use since I don't have that much pads yet, I hand wash them either with dish washing soap or Snappy Clean Citrus Pad Cleaning Powder and rinse with tap water.
Hope I helped.

Re: Used pads
hey radicalrev
I too wash my pads like sydster mention
But i use dawn direct foam. spray a couple sprays on and use my finger tips to work in then soak in hot water for a few minutes then rinse in cold water.
squeeze out remaining water and dry on a rack then put back in there original bags until the next detail.
been doing my pads this way for about a year now with no problems and even my dedicated #83 pads when used for old red single stage paint looks fresh with no traces of any paint what so ever.
hope sydster and my post give you some ideas''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''
