For Christmas my dad wants me to detail his Tahoe thats in pretty bad shape. I doubt it has ever recieved a coat of wax and is heavily oxidized right now. I will be using a DA and have #2, #80, #9, #21, and #26 to use. I'm kinda worried that #2 won't cut it since I only have a polishing and waxing pads to use (8006 and 9006). Should I order something with more cut and a cutting pad or will those products ^ work? Last weekend I did a friend of mines 02 Tahoe, green, and it came out pretty good using #2. Removing all of the oxidation and the swirls for the most part but leaving some scratches behind, probably because we didn't break the polish down all the way.
Of course I'll do the mandantory two bucket method and clay before the polish so I'm not a complete NEWB to this. LOL
