Where to buy Meguiars G220?

Hi guys,

I would like to purchase a Meguiars G220 polisher.

Does anyone know where I can purchase this??

I live in Australia so I need the 240volt polisher. As far as I understand Meguiars will not ship this item here only to an American address. I have a contact in America who I can get this shipped to so that is not a problem. I just need to know where I can actually purchase the G220?

You'll have two options:

1. Find an online retailer of Meguiar's in any country that is going to stock this tool and purchase from them and work out the shipping details.

2. Find a kind person in a country where the G220 is being carried and work out the arrangements to purchase the polisher and then have the kind person ship it to you.

Off hand, we're not sure we're going to have these in the U.S. since their really only for International sales, so not sure any online detailing supply store will be stocking the item.

We can try to find out where the polisher will be inventoried first.

Downesy, u can do a Google search for G220. I've seen a lot of G220 selling in UK websites.

I read in uk website tht it's in stock...? But I dunno as I didn't order it.

I read tht the G220 is a bit more heavier than the PC/UDM. So it is a bit more stable and smooth. I'm too interested in the G220. Can't wait to see some detailing 'show & shine' using the G110.

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated.

I had seen the UK websites selling it, but they want 150 pounds + shipping.

I sent an email off to meguiars Australia and this was the reply I got:

"Thanks for your email inquiry.

Received follow-up info from our management Re: supply of the above new G220 Random Orbital Polisher. As this has been a new released product in the US, we are following up on the costing to import & include into our product range. I will call with the pricing/availability when received."


If Megs choose not to import this item into Australia I think it would be good if they could just import a handful of them here for us that are really keen if we leave a deposit with them.

I will start another thread to see how much interest there is in purchasing a G220 in Australia.
