  • #26 & PC application

I have recently started using the PC to apply #26 as my last step. I was wondering how long should I wait after I finish my 2X2 area before removing the wax? Until now I have always applied #26 by hand.

Let any wax made by Meguiar's dry until it swipes clear.

M26 is a very clear wax, it even states ti will dry clear in cracks and crevices on the label. A think layer over an entire panel can also be very clear and somewhat harder to easily see. So make sure you have a good, thin uniform coating and the let the Swipe Test be your guide.

In other words you can apply wax to the entire car and then when you swipe test shows the wax to be fully dried you can remove the wax from the entires car usually following your path of travel.

Thank you Mike for the very quick reply. I assumed that either by hand or by PC leaving it on for the duration of the application and then return to the starting point and removing is the way to go.

Like Mike said, you can apply it over the entire car then remove it. I wax my entire truck then clean up a little and get my bonnets and MF's ready and it's defenety ready to remove by then. What was your process for removing the wax after you applies it by hand?
