  • Da, i know its worth it but....

now, im getting convinced that i want to buy one of these. what are the essencials that are really needed to use it?

i mean like 3 of every pad or...you get the point.

the uses of course would be to detail cars. polish, shine, maybe some wet sanding on the headlights, things like that.

any waxes that need to be or cant be used by a DA? thanks much.

The more work we've done with the G100 polishing out entire care and by this we mean removing swirls, not merely spreading a product out over the surface, the more pads you need for the tool to work at it's most effective level.

Assuming you want to use a cutting pad with a bonnet over it to remove wax although you can skip this and remove wax by hand, but assuming you wanted to do this...
    • 1 each W-7006 Foam Cutting Pad for wax removal with a bonnet, not for applying liquid chemicals.
    • 6 each W-8006 Foam Polishing Pads for applying cleaner/polishes
    • 2 each W-9006 Foam Finishing Pads for applying LSP's

    • 1 each M83 Dual Action Cleaner/Polish
    • 1 each M80 Speed Glaze

M66 for production detailing work and swirl and micro-marring removal on various paint systems

Your choice of a premium wax for high-end work.

A clay kit of some type for use before machine cleaning.

That will get you to work on most anything you come up against.

autodetailingsolutions.com can be a good place to look, esp since Rick sells the pads in cases, so it can work out a bit cheaper for you.
