Any use for those White PC Polishing Pads?

I have a porter cable 7336 and have a couple of unused polishing pads that came with it, my sister gave it to me. Just wanted to ask if anyone knows if those pads are any good? What's its equivalent in the Meguiar's line? Is it the same as the W8006 Polishing pads? Any input from anyone is welcome. Thanks!

i'm assuming you're talking about Lake Country pads? i dont' have any experience with LC pads but i believe the white is as follows.

if so:

WHITE LC PAD = W-8006

Its not the Lake Country its the one that comes free with the Porter Cable Polisher, I think its also made by Porter Cable because that is the brand, it the screw on type. Thanks for the reply nonetheless.

oh that one.

yeah i'm not sure what one is for. i bought the MEGUIARS PC so mine came with a MEGS pad.

but i'd say don't use the white one.

you'll need to get a MEGS backing plate first to start. then grab youself some pads.

1 -7006

great starting mix of pads here.

I agree with TP... don't use the included pad with Porter Cables machine. Stick with Meguiars pads then there is no question on pad quality and such.

I have used the white pad with a m/f bonnet to remove product. It worked OK

Thats a good use for it, I just would't use the pad alone.
