  • Is this normal ?

This is my first time using the G100. It seems to shake a lot, left, right, up and down. Not sure if this is a normal. I used only about 10-15 lbs of pressure . Any feedback is appreciated.

What you're feeling is the "random orbital" portion of the "dual action" feature of this machine. It doesn't just spin the pad around a stationary center axis like a high speed rotary does, so this "shaking" is to be expected.

Think of it this way: a rotary spins like the earth on its axis, but the G-100 adds a fairly substantial wobble to that rotation.

Thanks for the quick response, Mike. At least now, I am feeling more confident. I am gonna try to work on my car this weekend and show the result later.
