  • Question about different PC's

Can anyone tell me the difference between the PC 7424, 7336 and 7335? Just curious. I happen to have the 7335 which I bought from Meguiar's about 10 years ago. It apears that it's no longer made.

    Thanks

    This might help...

    The Dual Action Counterweight "Controversy"

    Edit:
I thought it mentioned diffeent part numbers, but I guess it doesnt. However, the counterweight could be part of the difference. Not sure...

      Re: Question about different PC's

They're all the same basic machine with different "attachments." It's sort of like buying the same car with different wheel/tire (and warranty) options.

7335 - backing plate for 5" sanding disks, counterweight for 5" sanding backing plate
7336 - backing plate for 6" sanding disks, counterweight for 6" sanding backing plate
7424 - 6" foam buffing pad (screw-in), counterweight for 6" sanding backing plate
G100 - 5" backing plate for hook&loop buffing pads, one W8006 pad included, counterweight for 6" sanding backing plate, lifetime warranty (IIRC the others have 1 year warranties)

      PC.

My backing plate with my 7424 seems to work ok. It came with it. Anybody else use it

If you mean the white foam pad one....nope. I got the Meg's velcro backing plate and some pads.
