Not that I know of. I had one send over from Canada and bought a powerconverter. Thats the way you will have to go if you wanna buy one.

        Re: G100 European version

Last weekend we had a forummeeting at Meguiar's Training & Experience Centre in Holland. We spoke with David Pykett of Meguiars. We talked about a european version of the G100, he said that they are trying to get a european version of the G100, but there is no defenitive plan yet.... they are stilling trying to find a manufacturer.
In Switserland they have a sort of european version of the G100, but David told me that 9 out of 10 fail or fail after a short while due to the poor mechanical properties of the machine (El Cheapo from China...).

Let's hope that they will find a way to get a european version over here!

Can I use the following Power Converter together with the G100:

          Specifications is 500W
          Input 220-240V AC
          Output 110-120V AC

Power in Norway is 230V so output will be 115V. Is 500W strong enough or do I need one with 1000W. Can I also run a Makita rotary with the 500W?

Will the G100 socket fit onto the output socket on the converter?
How long are the power cabel on the G100, will I need an extension cable?

            Is the following assumption correct:
            G100: 3.7Amps X 120Volts = 444 watts current draw at 120VAC.
This means that the power converter must be at least 444 watts and that
the 500 watt power converter would fit the bill exactly. Anyone?

                This is what you want.

Its made by Flex in Germany and its identical to the PC...in fact, I think its an exact copy and specs, with just cosmetic changes.

                I hope this helps.

When I first went to work for Meguiar's in 1988, we sold a tool made by Flex but I don't remember if it was a dual action polisher or a rotary buffer. I think it was a dual action polisher because at the time I was showing a lot of painters, and painter's helpers, our foam pad with the built in backing plate with the 5/16 threaded auger for use with air powered D.A. Sanders for removing swirls in body shops. It was never a big seller because body shops don't tend to want to do more than one or two steps then it's time to push the car out the door, but before all these electrical dual action polishers came along, Meguiar's was teaching people how to use the dual action air powered sander to remove swirls.

The Flex is similar to the Porter-Cable but certainly not identical. Everything about it is different, the electrical specifications, the mechanical specifications, the castings, the molded parts, the accessories… But it is close. I would think it would work well.

What does that guy from the Netherlands that works on the Mustangs use? It was some kind of cool purple and green machine.

Yes, that would be it ( I meant black and green ). Does that seem like an effective tool for European folks?

I have bought the G100 so I need to get the converter. Question is if I will experience any problems like a sudden dropp i power output while using the 500W german power converter.

Will I be able to operate the polisher continuously without the power and speed starting to fluctuate. Anyone here using a 500 W Power converter
                            with the G100?

                              Hi!

I'm using a 500w 110v converter here i Norway, but I ordered mine from the states. If you are planning of getting a rotary with 110v you should get more then 500w. But a 500w converter will do a great job with the g100
